As Your New Year Begins...
With the start of the new year…
I’m less interested in resolutions and drawn to reflection
Between everything that’s happened
And what’s coming next
Another stage of my life has passed
Days with occasions I planned
And circumstances beyond belief
Some brought growth and gratitude
Others had loss and disappointment
Life rarely moves in clean chapters
It has overlapping seasons…
Joy beside sorrow
Hope through uncertainty
Strength overcoming weariness
And yet, here I am…
Standing and breathing
Looking forward to another year
My hope for you in 2026 is this…
Give yourself the freedom to slow down
And notice cherished moments again
Let go of what no longer needs to be carried
Reset without pressure or performance
You don’t need a perfect plan
Or have everything figured out
There’s nothing to prove to anyone
Remain open to grace, healing, and possibility
May you find peace where there’s noise
Rest while you’re striving
And confidence, one day at a time
