Sometimes I’ve wondered, “What’s the point of my life?”
Have you ever felt this way?
We’re not here just to survive and pay our lousy bills.
Statistics show that 70% of people hate their jobs.
So why are we here?
There must be something more going on.
And there is…think about it.
Everything's created for a purpose.
And so were you.
Here’s a blueprint to discover this for your life.
There are four elements that reveal your purpose:
The first is your design…
Who are you?
Many people cannot answer this question without genuine effort.
I love it when someone asks me, “What do you do?”
And my answer is, “About what?”
We’re often identified by what we do rather than who we are.
You also have deep desires that resonate with your passion.
Circumstances provide your preparation for challenges you’re meant to resolve.
This leads to your calling…which is the direction of your life.
You’re meant to support others with your unique abilities.
The combination of these factors expresses your life purpose.
Searching for life’s meaning leaves many people frustrated and confused.
It’s because we typically begin with the wrong motive…ourselves.
We ask self-centered questions like…
What do I want to do with my life?
What are my dreams, ambitions, and goals?
Being successful and fulfilling your life purpose isn’t the same issue.
And focusing on yourself won’t reveal it either.
You don’t have to be clueless about your purpose.
So how do you discover it?
By serving others...
It’s when you’ll feel the best about yourself, and it’s not an accident.
Praise and affirm someone.
Be patient when a person drives you crazy.
Give others your undivided attention.
Overlook an offense.
Express your admiration to people.
Clean up a mess you didn’t make.
Defend someone who’s being attacked.
Give in secret.
Encourage a person who is going through a difficult time.
There are endless opportunities to make people feel valued…
And you’ll discover your purpose and meaning in life’s journey.
Make someone feel appreciated today!
